Vijay Borra, M.D.
Fellowship Trained in Orthopedic Surgery
Dr. Borra is a fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in the treatment of all musculoskeletal conditions. Raised in New York City, he graduated summa cum laude from the Honors Academy at Brooklyn College followed by medical training at the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Medical Center, a University Hospital of Columbia University in New York with additional tumor training at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Following residency, he then completed a fellowship in Joint Replacement at the Baylor College of Medicine / Texas Medical Center in Houston focusing on total hip and knee replacement, hip resurfacing, partial knee replacement and complex hip and knee joint revision surgeries for bone loss, infection and implant failures.
He is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons as well as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
